I would like to learn how to save/retrieve information between activities? I know about shared preference and also to store data into external files but I’m looking for help on a better way, any suggestions would be appreciated!

You can use a web service, which is basically a server that can be reached by the internet. You could for example write the data to a http post request and access the data from your next activity on a http get request.
