I have these thoughts about the true motivations of the US Attorneys today… The rest of the country is in full revolt. We face unprecedented political violence that can only be deterred by overwhelming force – a military invasion. And so the Obama administration approved Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s plan to armed the police and began to militarize state and local law enforcement. Police are being trained to use military tactics, weapons and equipment. In addition, the federal government is willing to overturn decades of Supreme Court precedent and the Fourth Amendment in order to provide immunity to police thugs for the acts of killing people. This is the philosophy of the President and his Attorney General. To get elected, and as a greenhorn constitutional law lecturer, the President raised his hand and swore to uphold the constitution. He was put under oath. He broke this oath and must be impeached. The Constitution has been made available for the rest of the country to judge. The President swore the oath under Taylor v. United States, in 1879 and that is the case where the Supreme Court extended the Constitution to criminal issues. Not the Constitution you see every other day, but a combination of the Constitution and the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850, the post-Civil War amendments that criminalized slavery, the Fourteenth Amendment that’s embedded in the Bill of Rights, the War Powers Clause and the Posse Comitatus Act. The government swore, and it is breaking its oath.
