What does a girl like you do in her free time when you’re not working?
I love to cook, vibe out to good music and relax and binge watch Netflix series and TV series.
My favorites are mystery dramas and suspense shows such as “Riverdale”, “Beauty & The Beast” and “Titans.” I also love a good action or thriller movie. Outside of this, I love to draw and paint when I have time. This process is usually a couple days worth because I sketch, paint and mix the colors by hand. I was a visual arts major in high school, and have a double major for my degree in Business and Art, so this is very therapeutic and fun for me. I’m most inspired when I’m in love with someone to paint images of us together. While that is not currently the case, I hope it becomes so very soon.
Speaking of love, any updates on you finding “the Joker to your Harley” as you put it when we interviewed you a year ago?
I definitely have a couple of very strong suitors who I have an interest in. One a little more than the other since he seems like he has a more fun personality and we share a common taste in
movies and music more than the other guy, but I honestly feel I could be very happy with either.
While I have learned my lesson about name-dropping prematurely and having things go sour after something has already been published, I will say that they are both educated, handsome,
ambitious, attractive men! They both meet and/or exceed every preliminary qualification that I’m looking for in a long-term partner and have expressed that I do the same for them.
At this point, it’s just a matter of who is more consistent with me. I mean that communication-wise (how often do we converse, does he make time to actually call me on the
phone so I can hear his voice and not just text me a couple times a day, does he regularly tell me “good morning or evening”), which is a HUGE thing for me. And, I mean that
quality-time-wise (how often do we actually see each other in the flesh and how much do we
enjoy that time together, what is our chemistry like), which is also very important to me. As time
progresses, whoever feels the strongest about me and is willing to satisfy those needs to the best extent will likely be the one I commit to if they ask me to take that next step into a
relationship. I’ve been single a very long time (for me, at least) and I’ve had a lot of
disappointments with many guys in the past year and a half who seemed like great potential mates and ended up playing games or not working out. So, at this point, I’m done waiting
around on men and putting my happiness on hold to give people chances. With that said, my
“Joker to my Harley” will make himself very clear that he wants to commit to me, and we will be together if it’s really right.
That’s awesome, diva! We can’t wait to hear the updates when that man asserts his position in your life and gives you everything you’re looking for. Having publicly branded yourself as a “crash-heart, hopeless romantic with love as your greatest weakness,” what would be your fairytale scenario for a man to ask you to be in a committed relationship with him?
At this point, it really isn’t even about the exact scenario of how the conversation occurred. I’m just so ready for someone who’s on my level to finally appreciate me enough to take that step
and seriously commit to me and ride out for the long run. Nevertheless, I think it would be very
sweet if a man took the time to write me a love letter (I do these a lot and am a sucker for them) that detailed his admiration for me and give it to me, asking me to commit at the end. Or I would also really like if he took me out for a really nice date and dinner, then did something cute like having the waiter write “will you be my girlfriend?” on the dessert plate. I’d probably cry in both instances.
Totally a Hallmark Moment! Speaking of dinner, what are your top restaurants and places to eat out?
I am a sucker for good food and drinks! Right now, I would have to say some of my go-to’s are probably TGI Fridays, Buffalo Wild Wings, Olive Garden, Chili’s and Steak n’ Shake. They all either have good burgers or good wings which I’m crazy about! But, if I’m REALLY being
honest, one of the best meals I’ve EVER had was at a fine dining place called Capital Grille and I had the Filet Mignon with Mashed Potatoes. I just refuse to pay their high prices unless it’s a VERY special occasion because I’m a Frugal Fran.
Those sound great! Lastly, we want to know if you could have one thing in the world right now, what would it be?
I feel like I don’t know how to answer this. I could say the predictable “world peace” or “a billion bucks” but I feel like those are too easy. So, I’m gonna say that I would have the wisdom and
resources to accomplish my life’s mission of changing as many lives, helping as many people and touching as many hearts as I possibly could. My long term career goal is to be a fulltime
philanthropist thriving in my community service and making a difference on a far grander scale than I’ve ever been able to. I mean, it’s truly where my heart is and what I have a passion for,
it’s my calling. That’s why I bust my tail so hard, and have been doing so since childhood, to be successful secularly and monetarily so that I can give it back to the world. Hopefully, that’ll happen one day. And, in my eyes, I mean that deeper than anything that I’ve ever spoken.
